Our Team
A small, close-knit crew — everyone here has a hand in building your machine.
We are a small team, and we work closely together every day. There is no long chain of command at DATCO. Everyone wears many hats — machining parts, building coaters, talking with customers, and getting orders out the door. When you call, you reach the same people who actually make the machines.
Frank Gross
Frank started DATCO in 1995 after four decades in the hotmelt industry, and he is still on the floor every day. That experience shaped how we build: machines that are reliable and easy to service. Away from the shop, he repairs and maintains tractors and follows general aviation — the same hands-on mindset he brings to every build.

Tony Gross
Tony keeps the day-to-day running and is often the first person you talk to. He helps spec the right machine for your line and stays hands-on through the build to make sure it ships right and on time.

Joy Gross
Joy keeps the office and the orders moving, looking after customers from the first call through shipment — and pitching in wherever the shop needs an extra hand.

Tommy Blunkall
Tommy anchors the machine shop, turning custom designs and special builds into finished machinery. Like everyone here, he works across the whole machine, not just one station.

Alex Miller
Alex machines, builds, and assembles coaters to spec, bringing careful, precise work to every job — and lending a hand wherever it is needed on the floor.
