The DATCO Filter Roll is one of our best-selling machines. A variation of the DATCO Hot Roll, it shares many of the same features as our industry-tested Hot Roll line. However, this easy-to-use, cost-effective machine comes standard with a double hold-down roll to better serve the cut-and-cap filter industry.
This winning combination allows customers to run thin filter frames over the roll with 100% coverage, reducing glue waste and the time spent assembling individual filters — all without the need for an additional mat or extra accessories.
Filter Roll Features
- Available in 6″ or 12″ lengths
- The 6″ roll is 750 watts and holds 2 lbs of adhesive; the 12″ roll is 1500 watts and holds 4 lbs of adhesive
- Offered in either 120V or 240V
- 2½″ diameter rolls
- Delta microprocessor temperature controls with digital display
- Brother International AC gear motors
- Electronic variable-frequency (variable speed) drive
- Under-temperature protection (the motor cannot start until the unit is up to temperature)
Tabletop Filter Roll
The Filter Roll is purpose-built for the cut-and-cap filter industry. Its standard double hold-down roll lets thin filter frames run over the application roll with full, even coverage in a single pass.
The Delta digital temperature control and variable-speed drive give you precise command over the gluing process, while the compact tabletop footprint fits easily into any production space.

The double hold-down roll is the heart of the design — it ensures 100% coverage on every thin filter frame, eliminating the need for extra mats or post-application touch-ups.
